Beijing decided to export universal vertical launch vehicles for export

At Airshow China 2021 in Zhuhai, China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC) unveiled its new shipborne vertical launch vehicle HT-1E for export.
As Defense World clarifies, unlike previous models designed for specific missile types, which are complex and take up extra space, the HT-1E is versatile, allowing it to carry more missiles of various types. This is the first such plant to be approved for export by the Chinese government.
According to the developers, the HT-1E system is capable of expanding the capabilities of warships, allowing them to be used both for solving air defense missions and for attacking surface and land targets.
The HT-1E sample presented at the event was equipped with a CM-103 supersonic cruise missile (range - 100 km), an HHQ-9E long-range missile (200 km), a CM-802B subsonic missile (180 km) and an FM-3000N anti-aircraft missile (30 km).
While the CM-103 and HHQ-9E occupy the entire vertical launch cell, the smaller FM-3000N missiles fit four units per cell.
According to CASIC, the HT-1E can be used for both cold and hot start rockets (during a cold start, the rocket is pushed out by gas from a generator that is not part of the rocket itself; on a hot start, the rocket ignites in the chamber).
