December 1, 2020, pledged to transfer three regions of Artsakh
🇦🇲🇷🇺🇦🇿According to a trilateral agreement between the presidents of Russia, the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, Yerevan, by December 1, 2020, pledged to transfer three regions of Artsakh under the control of Baku. Russian peacekeepers act as the guarantor of this agreement.
Until November 25, 2020, Armenia transferred to Azerbaijan two of the three regions - Agdam and Kelbajar. The transfer took place according to the developed plan, without any provocations from both sides.
And so, on December 1, 2020, the final stage of the transfer ended - the Lachin region went to the Azerbaijani side without disruption, as in previous times. Residents of the area were warned in advance by the local administration and hastily left their homes. At the moment, all local residents have left the city of Lachin.
Despite the fact that Lachin himself, according to the trilateral agreements, goes to Azerbaijan, the Lachin corridor remains completely under the control of the Russian peacekeepers, including to ensure the safety of vehicles.
