❗️Internal figures show WH may leave THOUSANDS of Americans behind enemy lines in Afghanistan after Aug. 31 deadline
Roughly 3,800 Americans have fled Afghanistan since July 29, with a reported further 8,000 estimated remaining on the ground, an official with direct knowledge told the Daily Caller Tuesday.
Their source states it seems “doubtful we are going to bring in 8,000 more Americans” between now and August 31, with just 350 US citizens apparently departing Afghanistan in the last 24 hours.
Tensions are high as the Taliban warns there will be ‘consequences’ if US presence is still felt in Afghanistan after the deadline, with spokesperson Suhail Shaheen stating it may “provoke a reaction if they are intent on continuing the occupation.”
