The head of Iranian diplomacy told reporters about this on the evening of October 5 in Moscow, announcing the agenda of the upcoming talks with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov, the state news agency IRNA reported.
“At a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, we intend to check our positions on the processes in the South Caucasus. We expect that Russia will react and be receptive to possible changes in the borders in the region, ”said the head of the Islamic Republic's Foreign Ministry. Hossein Amir Abdollahian also expressed Tehran's expectation that the Russian side will pay close attention to the presence of "terrorists and movements of the Zionist regime (Israel - Ed.) In the region, which opposes peace and security."
