Jamie Spears has confirmed he will step down as conservator for Britney’s estate, in new legal documents - and wants to work for an orderly transition.

His lawyer states, "There are, in fact, no actual grounds for suspending or removing Mr. Spears as the Conservator of the Estate,” however Spears has elected to do so anyway.

Britney’s lawyer was unmoved by Jamie’s decision to step down, "We are pleased but not necessarily surprised that Mr. Spears… finally recognizes that he must be removed. We are disappointed by their ongoing shameful and reprehensible attacks on Ms. Spears.”
