New mutated version of the Corona virus that is transmitted through air

Vietnam has discovered a new mutated version of the Corona virus that is transmitted quickly through the air and is a mixture of the Indian and British versions, according to official media reports on Saturday.
The country is trying hard to deal with a new spread of the virus in more than half of its territory, including in industrial areas and major cities such as Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
Vietnam has recorded more than 6,700 infections, including 47 deaths from the virus, most of them since April.
"We have discovered a new hybrid version of the Indian and British versions," Health Minister Nguyen Than Long said during a national meeting to discuss the epidemic on Saturday.

"One of the distinguishing features of this copy is its rapid transmission through the air. The virus concentration in throat fluids increases rapidly and spreads very strongly in the surrounding environment," he added.
He did not specify the number of infections that were recorded in the new version, but he said that Vietnam will soon announce its discovery on the world map of genetic mutations.
The Ministry of Health reported that there were seven known mutated versions of the Coronavirus in Vietnam before Long's announcement.
