Photos of the crashed Boeing Transair under water

🇺🇸 Photo of the crashed Boeing Transair under water

The US National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has released the first images of the crashed Rhoades Avn / Transair Boeing 737-200C (w / n N810TA) lying on the ocean floor at a depth of about 600 feet (about 182 meters).

Recall that the incident with the plane took place on July 2. After taking off from Honolulu Airport in Hawaii, the crew reported engine failures one by one and could not return to either the departure airport or the proposed fallback. The plane crashed into the water 2 miles off the coast. Both pilots were rescued by the US Coast Guard and taken to hospitals with various injuries.

As you can see in the photo, the cockpit and one engine separated during landing on the water and lie at the bottom separately.
