Poland wants almost to double its army amid Russian activity in Belarus, — "Polish Radio."

Military personnel will gradually increase from 160 to 300 thousand people. Seven divisions will also be created instead of the current three.
Six will be combat, and the seventh will be a reserve.
"We are restoring military units, creating new ones. Now a new, sixth division is being created," said Yaroslav Kaczyński, head of the ruling "Law and Justice" party.
Warsaw aims to create the strongest land army in Europe to become a shield for NATO's eastern flank, the publication notes.
