🇷🇼 In Rwanda, they announced the prevention of terrorist attacks in the capital of the country, Kigali, where the authorities detained thirteen people the day before, including one woman.

According to official sources, the detainees were planning a terrorist attack using an IED seized during their arrest. They are also reported to be associated with Congolese jihadists who, like the Mozambicans, are part of the Islamic State's Central African chapter in the region. It is worth recalling that Rwanda is participating in the anti-terrorist operation in Mozambique against Islamic State militants, and IS has previously threatened to attack countries interfering in their affairs in Mozambique's Cabo Delgado. #Africa #Rwanda
