❗️Taliban open fire during Afghan anti-Pakistan protest in Kabul

Thousands of demonstrators took to the streets on Tuesday in the Afghan capital – many of them women – to protest Pakistan and the country’s intel agency, ISI.

As the rally intensified, the crowd chanted “death to Pakistan” and “death to ISI” outside the Presidential Palace in Kabul as they marched towards the Serena Hotel where the Pakistan ISI director has been staying since last week.

Video footage from local media shows protesters running to safety while heavy gunfire can be heard – the Taliban reportedly firing warning shots to disperse the crowd. (AFP)

Taliban confiscate press cards and cameras while herding women into a parking lot to prevent them joining protest!?

Multiple journalists are reporting having their cameras ‘torn off’ them while Taliban fighters “confiscate” their press credentials – some even alleging members of the press have been "arrested" while attempting to cover a anti-Pakistan rally in Kabul. (TOLO News)

The head of a local media outlet posted footage of dozens of women trapped in a parking lot, apparently kept there by the Taliban to prevent them joining protest marches, according to eyewitnesses.
