The American military-industrial corporation Lockheed Martin has demonstrated an unmanned aerial vehicle to destroy enemy drones operating in groups. The drone is armed with an HPM microwave emitter.

The weight of the MORFIUS aircraft is about 13.6 kg. The launch is carried out from an installation in the form of a pipe with a diameter of 15.2 cm, which can be installed on ground vehicles, as well as helicopters.

The MORFIUS drone, having flown up to a group of drones, turns on microwave emitters with a power of up to one gigawatt. This ensures the destruction of nearby drones.

After completing the task, MORFIUS returns to the starting point. In addition, he can carry out reconnaissance of the area.
